My daughters baby is only 12 weeks old, baby is breastfed and bottle fed. Daddy wants to take baby to his house without mommy for the day. Mommy doesn't want baby to go without her and daddy's family doesn't want mommy to come along. Mommy will not allow the baby to go. Mommy offered for daddys family to see baby at our home but they refuse. Daddy has threatened mommy physical harm and threatened to take baby without permission. My question is, is baby too young to go with daddy on the bus who is breastfed? I think baby is too young to be alone wit daddy who doesn't provide and seems to be unfit and has been threatening mommy with harm. Can someone please give me some advise?

I don't think the baby is too young to be with dad-- dads are just as capable as being good parents as moms, no matter what the age of the child. As far as the feeding schedule goes, you said the baby is also bottle fed, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I am concerned about the claims of threats of physical harm and taking the child. Depending upon the severity of the threats, this might be a reason to seek an emergency order on custody (but again, if the threats are serious enough). A consult with a family law attorney would be adviseable.

Mommy doesn't want to let baby go alone with dad on the bus... Not at this time. Mommy wants to wait until baby is about 6months old to part for the day. Daddy is allowed to visit baby at our home along with familiy members if they want. Daddy's family are coaxing daddy to act violently towards mommy. Mommy and me (grandmommy) are concern that if she does let daddy take baby, then daddy will not want to return baby. Daddy has made threats of taken baby without permission. What can mommy do if daddy continues to make these threats?

First, is Daddy on the birth certificate?
