US Citizen Marrying an Irish Citizen in the US
Hello, I am a US Citizen. I am to marry my Finance who is an Irish Citizen . We are planing a small JP service in the end of May 2009. We will living in Ireland after the wedding. I was wondering if prior to registering with the town hall if we need to do any other paper work before we marry?. Or if it really is as easy as my town clerk said, ( we show up with photo Ids fill out a form together and wait three day and then marry ) I guess I am asking is it really that easy ?

    Congratulations!

Is this an immigration or family law question? Its generally fairly easy to register, get your marriage license and get married.
