    What does 48y or 42y mean on a fan motor?
    I am looking to replace my A/C fan motor and I found one on e-bay that matches mine but the only difference is mine says 42y frame and the one I want to buy says 48y frame. Can I still use this one.

    Difference in diameter/frame,, probably won`t mount up
