How do I make friend get over her ex boyfriend?

I know this might be wrong to do but try and introduce her with new people.get her to go out more and do different things that she never got chance to do with her ex e.g a new hobby?

How long had she and The Ex been together? How long ago did they split up? He dumped her or she dumped him? More details will help us answer better.

Okay, what I have had to do before... and myself... remember the only thing that will heal your friend is time. I hate to say something like that being kind of negative and all, but the main and almost only antedote... is time. It WILL take time I understand... but fgure out something she likes... do fun things with her for a while often. Have a girls night out every weekend... anything fun... just until the time passes by... so basically your stalling:)
