My boyfriend and I have been going out for a year and 2 months, everything is great until we get to the communication part. I would want to talk to him about everything weither it's a situation at home or even something I don't like about him, he gets angry or changes the subject by making a joke. It's really frustrating for me because I open up to him and he can't do the same. How can I get him to open up to me without forcing him?

Have you sat him down and tried to really get your point across. He's using humor most likely because he either feels uncomfortable or he doesn't really know how to communicate. So therefor you need to teech him. I know this sounds funny but some people have to be taught certain things. My husband and I have been together for 7 years now and we still are learning every day. When we first hooked up he was so bad. He didn't know how to communicate for the life of him, and now he has gotten to be good at it. It takes time and practice. So try sitting him down and talk with no jokes.
