How can I change the name on the deed to my house to my name. The house is under the original owner's name , she no longer wants the house and wants me to take over the house and wants it to be removed from under her name to mine. We have a notorized contract that states that Im buying the house from her. :confused:

You should hire an agent to close the sale for you. A lawyer would be best, but you can hire a title company, or an escrow company.
