If someone resigns from their job because of the stress of work schedule (3-11pm one day and 9-5 the next day) at 8 months pregnant, are they eligible for unemployment?:confused:

No, they quit for one thing,
Second if they can not work for medical reasons, they are not eligible either

If the work place had "laid them off" perhaps, but only as long as they can work and are available to work

Why quit? At 8 months she shpould have been eligible for sick leave of FMLA.

But if she did quit then she isn't eligible for unemployment. Also to receive uemployment, she has to be ready and willing to work.
