No Longer Getting Water to Kitchen Sink
Help please. I had to replace a Grohe facet handle. I turned off the two shut off valves under the sink, installed the handle and then went to open the shut off valves. No water came through the facet. When I went under the sink to double check to see if I had opened the shut off valves all the way (I did) it felt like I was not getting any water pressure into the pipes at all.

That alarmed me so I went in the basement to see if a pipe had burst (I found no evidence). But I'm still not getting any water to the Kitchen sink. There's a bathroom about 10 feet away that's getting water fine.

    Can anyone help?

    Milo Dolezal

Unscrew new handle from the hose. Turn faucet ON and see if you have any flow from the hose itself.

    Raxelrod...

Did you install a new handle, a new cartridge/stem or a new hand-held spray?

Remove the AERATOR (see picture) at the end of the spout or remove the hand-held spray (as Milo suggested) and see if water flows from the spout or hose. If not, it is possible that the shutoffs below are seized and will need to be worked on.

    Let us know...
