Is it kitchen faucet of lavatory faucet ?

In any case, you will need to get under the sink. Now, depending how old the faucet is, there should be 1/4" nut and long threaded rod. You will need either deep socket wrench - or if you have enough room there, you can use cresent wrech. Undo the nut, disconnect h/c water supplies and pull the faucet out.

Ok, you still have to get under the sink and unscrew that 1/4" screw.

Let us know how you did...

This should be the Moen tutorial for a kitchen sink installation. You may need a basin wrench to reach that one nut. Moen Installation Multimedia

PS. The nut is often hard to see because it is behind the two supply tubes.
