    Nusrery pots
Any one know where I can buy cheap nursery pots? Can afford to buy large cases or pallets.
Have trees and plants incoming. We grow and give away live food. Thanks!

I grow and sell jap red maples and wholesale shrubs and plants. I go to an actual growing nursery and get used pots. Just this fall on E bay there was a nursery selling basically thousands of used pots.

The best bet would be to check with any landscape outfit, They usually end up with thousands of all size pots left over after buying from nursery and planting on job sites

Just curious What exactly size pots at you looking for. At some time I will have many pots left and I try to re cycle. I'm in contact with friends at shrub/flower auctions and we trade back and forth with all diff size pots.

Is this an on going problem and if it is I may be able to help you out at some time.

Need 3" pots and up. Have been getting tub containers from Dollar General here for $6. each
They work for the bigger trees. But we're trying to get real food plants out to families and seniors who can grow it from there part of our Poor Man's hydroponics program. I get the 5 gal. veg. oil jugs from Mc Donalds. They don't last but about 5-6 mo. Trying to put out hundreds of plants this year. But can only give them away at the local farmers market as the City Of Atoka, Ok. Call everyone here a business. I'm a Non-profit Public Charity and have already been told I can't give away anything within the City limits except for the market which is owned by the Indians here. They don't the poor or needy here helped, so I go around them. I've got my nursery stock coming in this week plus what I have here to replant. All told over 40,000 plants and trees to do something with. Plus the new seeds being planted in starter trays. GOD provides I give away. Our specialty crops I sell to keep being able to give more. It's a great feeling when I know little ones and others will have something to eat today and next year if they replant the seeds.
Thank you for your reply. Wes Dyer
PS I do all of this from a manual wheelchair and get more done than most of my neighbors.

I may be able to assist later this summer for the 3" pots and flats with the starter pots in them. My sister and husband lives in Tulsa OK And I will E mail them to see what they can do.
I can get you maybe a 100 starter trays in June sometime if that would help you out. Yearly I get 300 to 500+s of 3" pots and bigger sizes but 5 gal is tough at times. I can put the word out to my growing/wholesale friends. I will pay for shipping as my donation to this worthy cause. Thank you for being who you are. I will see what I can do. If this is constantly a yearly thing I can really hook you up next year with a couple of skids full of pots. I'm sending you a private message with My E mail so we can possibly coordinate to deliver to you at the end of June a skid full of mixed pots/trays/ flats and pots

Since I last talked to you I called my sister in Tulsa OK. And told her of your cause and needs and together we will be in gear to help you with pots.

Its funny you mentioned Katrina. My wife was a volunteer for Red Cross in Jack Miss.

Later I took some time off from my job in construction and just flew down on my on accord to help out and ended doing Damage assessment for the Red cross.

Came from a poor family and understand not always having much food. With all the lay offs and the situation the country's in is it looks like you may have a ground braking idea on how to help feed those in need here!

I have your info and will be in touch again soon.

Thank YOU!! For all that you do...
