I have a Kenmore 90 Series Electric Dryer, Model # 110.66912692. I just took apart the door to get better access to clean the lint out of the whole unit. Everything went back together fine and the dryer runs, but the door pops open after about 10 seconds. The door pops open even without running the dryer. I checked out the door switch and it just clicks. Don't know if this is normal or how it could have broke, but the tab that the door rests against is pretty strong. Perhaps I bent the door hinges putting the door back together? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

On many Sears dryers there are a male and female catch assemblys that wear over time and will not stay closed.

Part 52 and 58 come as a kit but just go to sears parts and see for yourself what you might need. Might also check the door springs also
