    How to find tension
How do I find the tension of a rope inclined at a certain angle pulled at a constant speed given the weight and coefficient of kinetic friction?

The force that the rope applies in the direction of movement of the object must equal the resistance caused by the friction. Otherwise the object would either either not move at all (if the force wasn't great enough) or it would accelerate (if the force was too big). The force in the direction of movement is the tension in the rope times the cosine of the angle between the rope and the ground. The resistive force is equal to the weight of the object times the coefficient of friction. Set these equal, and away you go! All this assumes that the object is moving over level ground.
