I have not filed US returns for 2007 as I was not in USA in 2007,but I was there in 2008 ,now m filing my tax returns as resident alien for 2008.
Do I eligible for 600$ stimulus package given that I was not there in 2007.
As when I go to turboTax they ask me for whether I got ny rebate for 2007 I said no & they add the amount in my refunds,which I think is not right, advise.
Also do let me know if I am eligible for 600$ rebate?

Yes you are eligible, as long as you have a social security number and your spouse does as well (if you are married filing jointly).
