    US Taxation for non resident alien
    Do non resident alien on L1B visa needs to pay any federal tax,if yes then how much more/less this is as compare to resident aliens for the same duration.

    I came to USA on work permit (L1B).frm feb to June 2008 (150 days).I am single & had workes as software engineer in CA.

    Yes, you need to pay U.S. tax as a nonresident alien. You do not qualify to file as a resident alien. File Form 1040NR.
