Can I adopt my boyfriends child even if the child lives with his mother and I am 16years old and I am not happy the way he's living :confused:

The mother is willing to give up all rights to her child to you?

I seriously doubt is any court is going to allow a 16 yr old to adopt a child. Even in the unlikely event that the mother agrees.

I also have to wonder about your judgement if you are a 16 yr old involved with a boy who has already fathered one child, apparently out of wedlock.

You can adopt them if the mother is willing to give them up to you for adoption

Well after you become 18 and you are married for at least a year to your new husband, and after your husband gains full custody of the child away from the mother,

Then the mother can sign her rights away to allow you to adopt.

So is the mother willing to do this and you willing to do all you need to do
