I am a F1 student since 2003 and starting this year eligible resident only for tax purposes. I am filing taxes as Married filing jointly using 1040 form. My wife is a dependent (F2 visa) so I need to fill W7/ITIN form along with my tax return.

What option should I select in W-7 form to describe my spouse' status. I think it is either of these two:

e) Spouse of U.S. citizen/resident alien
g) Dependent/spouse of a nonresident alien holding a U.S. visa

Can anyone clarify??
