After my wife comes to USA, I am planning to change her name on passport
From her maiden name to wedded name. She is on F-2 visa.

After getting a new passport will I have to apply for a new I-20 for her ?

Generally, you will not get another SEVIS I-20 for a name change, include the marriage certificate to show the civil name change.

Check with the laws of her home country on new passport issuance.
