    Renter's rights
My daughter is in a lease for an Apex apartment in York,PA.(it's off campus housing) Is there anyway for her to legally terminate her lease early without paying a reletting charge of 500.00 dollars and even possibly not paying the rest of her rent until July if she's not living there and attending that college any longer.Don't really know renters rights... help please

    Hello ron:

I don't know why you entitled your post "renters rights". Why would you think somebody who signed an agreement has the "right" to break it?

The fact is, they don't. In fact, the landlord has the right to get what he bargained for.

If she doesn't pay, she'll be sued. Wouldn't you sue somebody who promised to pay you x amount of money, and then didn't?? I think you would.
