DC generator head made in Italy
I'm trying to find the maker of a generator hear for DC current that is in Italy. It is used on a GPU unit that is designed to start turbine engines on jets or turbo-props. It is usually driven by a gas or diesel engine.

GPU is short for Ground Power Unit. It is used at airports to boost the start of a turbine engine on business jets that are started electrically. Large jets are started differently. I'm looking for the name of the manufacture of a DC generator head made in Italy. GPU are sometimes referred to as GSE, Ground Support Equipment.

Yes ff, as you could see from my post I realized that, and posted that just for confirmation.

As to the name of the Italian manufacturer : without a name or brand it is extremely difficult to help you, because there are many generator and generator supplies manufacturers in Italy.

Did you follow the link I provided in my previous post? Any success with that?
