    Lost Admin Password
Once again, my brother has lost his password to the admin account on his computer, he doesn't remember what he changed it too.
    The computer is an acer
And it has vista, is there anyway to get back on it?

Contacting Microsoft is a scary prospect how I hate their tech support. Another solution that once you get it going is sooooo much more useful is this:
Go to BartPE's website(Bart's Preinstalled Environment (BartPE) bootable live windows CD/DVD) and download their software for a bootable windows environment disk. This does require a CD burner. Make the cd rom with their software(just follow their instructions) and then ensure that the laptop is set to boot from CD rom before it boots from disk(the setting can be changed in your BIOS). Once booted into BartPE go to the start bar, their will be a password recovery/changing tool and set the password to whatever you want. Take the disk out and reboot and your good to go.

Wow... I say no to the BartPE mode as it works with XP, not Vista, you'd need something more like vLite (for Vista) to do what they're suggesting there. As for the paypercrack, if you're going to pay for it, go out and pay for Ophcrack for Vista, at least it's worth the money you're going to pay.
