Ok well I really like my best friend and I have no idea how to approch this at all. She is hooking up with someone right now but they just started hooking up and I don't think that she likes him that much. I just what to be that person. Like I'm there for her though everything and she talks to me about everything, we hangout all the time and I want to take of to the next level, and I don't know what to say or do, should I just kiss her or talkto her about it. Just boost her ego and give her a bunch of compliments. Don't make your moves yet because you don't want to get shot down. If she responds to the compliments positively she'll wonder why all of the sudden your complimenting her so much and ask you if you like her then you could tell her. If she responds negaitvely and changes the subject then you know she doesn't feel the same about you.

Don't put yourself out there and give her the power to hurt your feelings.

Tell her the truth, she's your best friend, she knows you, she'll be at least flattered, don't let fear stop you. Get out there and get it done. If she says she likes you it could be the best relationship of your life, if she says no then at least you tried.

I think you should go for it. Let me tell you, I was best friends with my husband first before we hooked up. For a year straight we hung out all the time watched movies, shot pool, played games. He made the first move after a year and told me he was in love with me and I felt so good about it because I was in love with him and didn't know how to tell him. Now we are married and have 2 kids after 7 years.

But didn't you say she's hooking up with someone now? I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if she's with another guy then you don't want to be the guy she cheats with.

Otherwise, if she's single, then step it up. Start giving subtle hints that you are interested and see how she reacts to them.
