If he lived a good life and tried to be a good person,as I'm sure he was for you to be worrying,than you need to have faith that he is all right.

If you have any religious affiliation,I would simply pray to your higher power and ask that he is kept at peace.

It is a question of faith.. my faith tells me that people who live a life according to decency will be reunited with the father and have eternal life and everlasting peace.
