    My Wife's itin
    Hello, I hold valid h1b and my wife holds valid h4. We have traveled to the usa on 3rd Feb 2006 and returned to India on 11th Feb 2007. I had applied for her itin along during tax submission. But, due to name problem in the passport, she did not get her itin. I had applied again and did not get again. Now, she had corrected name in the passport. Can I apply for itin now again and get back the tax refund for the year 2006? Please advise.

    Yes, you can still file your 2006 tax return. Attach W7 (ITIN application) with your tax return.
