    Steam radiator doesn't heat
I live in a two story house, where my room is on the second floor and the radiator is located the furthest from the furnace. (The furnace is in the basement in the rear of the house while my room is on the second floor in the front of the house) When I turn the heat on, I have to turn it on high where the rest of the house is sweltering to to make my room comfortable. Last year I had a plumber come in and replace all the valves, check my boiler and he told me everything was working fine. I have heat in my room, it's just that it's the last to come on and every other room in the house is warm while my room is cold. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just checking. Are you sure this is a steam boiler and not a regular water boiler? The reason I'm asking you is because you called it a furnace once and in the trades we call a furnace a forced hot air heat plant.

If the boiler is actually steam then a problem could be the steam line to that radiator is colder then the rest of the basic system and the steam condensates to quickly and returns to boiler.

Exactly what valve(s) did he replace ?

Depending on your system here is a steam vent that can be adjusted to let in more steam as opposed to a set vent. This would allow the one steam radiator to open faster/more then the other radiators to balance the slower one to heat.
