    Legal attachment of bank accounts
If there is a court judgement in a civil suit against one individual, can the bank account be attached/garnished is it is a JOINT account with another individual? Thanks for quick answer!

Yes. Joint funds belong to either or any of the people listed on the account.

    Legal attachment of social security
Can my bank account be attached by a judgement if the only deposit is from social security benefits?

Yes and no. While its not allowed, your bank doesn't know where the funds are from. So you need to inform your bank that the only source of your deposits is exempt income. This way if they get a writ of attachment, they can deny it.
