Have a Maytag Neptune electric dryer Model# MDE4000AYW

The heating element suddenly stopped working. I have checked the continuity of the heater element and it is fine. I also replaced the thermostat and fuse on the housing of the heater element. Still no heat. What should I check next?

Trace the electric circuit from where it comes in the dryer through the dryer until you find the defective part.

You might find this helpful for parts. You can also test individual parts before replacing them so you do not spend extra $$$. Pay attention to the motorswitch on the motor if it is not allowing the voltage through that can be a problem also.
