    Adopting my kids half sister
The daddy to my three boys and I have been split up for some time now... He got another girl pregnant and she is not capable of taking care of the baby. She wants to sign the baby over to him and I want to adopt it as well.. We are together now.. Where do I start?

You start with getting the poor girl counseling.

    Then you get a lawyer.

Then--probably--you get married to the babydaddy.

No greenies left for Syn this week, but yeah... you are going to need to be married. Only then will babymommy be able to sign over rights and you adopt.

Yes, there are cases on record when non-married couples are allowed to adopt, but unless you are together for 20 years, chances are you will need to be married - sometimes for 1+ years.
