How do football players hurt the knee when running. When I run with cleats my knee don't get hurt.:confused:

They would usually not hurt their knee when running in a straight line but when making cuts to right or left and the cleet may not pivot with foot leading to ankle/knee type injuries as the foot did not follow the path of motion

Running in straight line usually would be hamstring, achilles heal type injuries or just a pulled muscle
