I installed a new kitchen faucet. No leaks, good pressure and water flow. On the second day there is a "chattering' noise (jerking) when I turn on the faucet. Water flow is good but the "chattering continues. Why?

Single handle, same noise on hot and cold. Well water.

Close and Open back your hot and cold water angles stops (valves) inside the cabinet supplying the faucet. See if the noise/vibration continues...
