Hi, I'm 13 year old female and I need some tips on how to tell someone that my eating disorder has gotten out of control:confused:

    Sweetest Sin

Tell someone what your going through and what you've been eating and how you feel. I have an eating disorder as well and my teacher noticed me losing weight and talked to me about it but I denied it because I was to scared to tell her. Now I wish I did because I'm even more scared to just go up to her and say I'm anorexic. It would seem a random now lol. Telling someone about it and admitting your anorexic is the hardest part (so I heard) so you just have to be strong enough to tell someone. Good luck x

The best thing you can do is confide in someone (preferably an adult/ guardian) that you trust. This person can be a teacher or a parent, even an older sibling.

I had bulimia nervosa for seven years, and trust me, it is not worth it. You may end up gaining all you weight back- and even if you DID keep it off the health problems an eating disorder creates ruins your young life. I have stopped purging but still cannot digest properly- and swallowing hurts like hell. I always have stomach aches and have severe blood diseases.

Please, get help NOW. Your life really does depend on it.
