    2nd floor bathroom leaked
I live on the 2nd floor apartment. We moved here about 4 months ago. About 3 weeks ago my children were taking a bath in the tub. My down stairs neighbor came to back door and said that here ceiling was leaking. When I went down stairs to check the ceiling was drenched with water. Now my landlord is saying that it is my fault because my children splashed somewater on the floor. So my question is could this much water damage be caused from splashing water or is it more likely there is another problem that my landlord is not looking into.

    Not to blame

The only way to check would be to open up the access panel located behind the tubs drain in a wall,(if there isn't a panel you'll have to cut one in) and fill and drain the tub. A leak will be easy to spot if there is one. Let me know what you find. Good luck, Tom
