    Get songs onto new computer
My computer broke and I had to redownload over 2000 songs. And even repurchace several songs. Then I was almost done with it all and it broke again. And I will not be able to get the songs off my computer. So what I want to know is there a way to get the songs from a iPod onto a new computer?
    If so, how?

    Hello beth

I will follow the answers on this one, as I am interested in them too.

As to preventing these problems in the future : it teaches you the necessity to make back-ups. Either install a second hard drive, or use an external second hard drive as back-up.
You can also use a CD, DVD, or memory stick as back-up (of data, software, text, photo's, and music).

You should copy and paste the music files onto a usb drive. Then paste them into your music folder on the new computer. My sister does it all the time. It might only work for wpma format, but you can try it with the mp3 format. I think it will probably work. Try it. If not burn the songs onto cds.
