Rheem gas water heater not firing
I have a rheem rfd200-76-1 gas water heater that is not working. The pilot light is on but the main burners do not kick on unless you jiggle the vent damper on top. I was told that you can bypass this damper and just run it off the thermastat. How can I get this to work? Where do I find the parts for this problem to fix it?
    Thanks
    David

I cannot find specs on this heater... Is it commercial heater ? Is it direct vent heater ?

It isn't recommended but for temp. situation okay just make sure or vent is clear, and keep an eye on it till you have a professoinal look at it.
