Faucet handle goes past shutoff, water runs
On kitchen sink faucet... Instead of stopping at the point where my hot water shuts off, the handle continues to move. At the stop point, the hot water runs again. What part of the faucet needs fixing?

There is a "stop-notch" on the stem, under the handle. It either got broken off or the stem mount is too loose allowing stem to spin around . Remove handle, turn stem with channel locks and see why it doesn't stop.
