My boyfriend of 4 years is from nigeria, I'm british, he came to this country with out a visa 5 years ago, we want to get married in the uk which we have been told from our lawyer that we can, once were married is it possible for him to apply for a visa to stay here with me without him having to go back, I have 2 children from a previous marriage but I'm divorced now, my kids think world of him, we don't live together, I work full time and claim working tax credit and child tax, I've been told that if we live together and I carry on claiming it could affect us, is this true? Because he cannot work because he doesent have a visa, so under these circumstances could I still claim for me and my children? I would appreciate all the help I could get thanks
