I moved out with my boyfriend but after only 4 days we broke up and I was forced to move out. Now he is trying to bring me to civil court for half of the years lease. I never signed the lease or anything else but he is claiming we had a verbal aggrement. I am wondering if this would stand up in court, also he threw me out when we broke up. I live in ontario.

Verbal agreements are admissible. He sues; you deny; you both go to Court; the Judge listens to and reads any and all evidence and makes a decision.
