Don't Remember Book Title
The story takes place in 17th century England. A tailor who has the bubonic plague is sent to a small village outside of London. The village people get infected, the small village is quarantined they are not allowed to go outside their village or to receive outside visitors. The 2nd person to die after the tailor is the villate "witch doctor" whose name I believe is Agness. The heroine of the story is a widow whose husband dies in a mining accident. She is left with her two little boys who die of the plague. She has a romatic fling with the pastor and eventually moves to Italy pregnant with the pastor's child.
