    Drains and sewer
Hello. I have a home in Queens and I have noticed since they have been developing new homes in the area several residents have been having problems with our sewer systems. I have had my sewer drain cleaned twice in one year, which becomes costly. I have contacted the city agency that deals with the city sewers, but they told me that my line is on a tilt. I have been living at this place for over 15 years and has never had a problem with my sewer. The city agency states that it is my problem and will have to deal with it. Does anyone have an idea or solution for this situation?

    Thank you

If it's the line between your home and the city riser then it is your property. If it tilts toward your home you have no real options other than having a new pipe installed after ripping out the existing. I'd get at least 3 estimates before going any further.
