    Retired military
My husband receives retired military pay. He will soon qualify for Social Security. Will we lose all or any of his military pay or social security to offset the other pay?

No. One has nothing to do with the other. He will continue getting his military retirement pay separately and receive his Social Security retirement pay separately. He's entitled to this. The only thing that could possibly offset his receiving any of his benefits would be if he held a job and earned a lot of money every year.

The only benefits that would be offset would be his social secruity benefits depending on how much he earns. His Military retirement will not be effected, unless he receives"Veteans Affairs disablility benefits".and that also depends on his disablility rating.
