I have a just installed a hunter fan with remote. It works well but sometimes the fan will come on all by it self, with out the switch being activated. Could this be interference from TV remote or what? LRH neb

It does sound like you are picking up a RF signal. Does the remote and receiver have dip switches? If so, move the switches to a new sequence on both units. Check twice to insure both are the same before closing the canoply.
