My baby's father lives in flordia I live in Georgia, he is behind on child support can I file a child adbandonmet warrant? If so were can I do this?:confused:

How far behind is he in child support? Does he ever contact you? When is the last he contacted you?

GA does consider non payment of child support to be abandonment. So, yes, if he's behind even one period, you can go back to the court to enforce the support order.

He is 5,000 behind... he use to contact me but I had my number changed because the last time he call he was cursing me out because I put him on child support saying he was never going to pay so stop trying that was like 2wks ago

OK can I file this at the court house, online?

You have to check with your local courthouse for the process. Many states have agencies dediciated to enforcing child support. You might check for one and start there.

I'm somewhat confused... you said he cursed you out 2 weeks ago because you asked for child support, but say he's $5,000 behind? When was the support order put into place?
