My girlfriend is having an affair for 8 yrs with this married man and he has never told her once that he loved her.. but then finally one night he told her over and over that he loved her.. what does this mean now?? does he truly mean this?

Well, I'm sure he loves her just as much as the wife that he has cheated on for 8 years! That is deplorable and despicable behaviour, and she should be ashamed of herself! This man is a snake, and your friend is slithering right behind him!

I suppose he's got a family and children also, am I correct? Where are her morals? This doesn't just concern her! This concerns and effects many lives! Why is your friend so selfish? This man said he loves her because he didn't want to lose his "girl on the side!"

If your friend has any self respect and common decency, she will leave this man and let him deal with his obvious lack of self control and morality.

I find this totally disgusting behaviour, on behalf of your friend and this man that is not hers to have. How horrible for this man's wife, children, and family members!

He loved her that night, just like he loved his wife the night before, and the other side piece he has the next night. Has your friend heard the expression "flavor of the week" she just lasts a bit longer because she puts up with it.

It means he figured he had to say it to keep her. Married men know and figure what to tell the women to keep her coming back so he can enjoy sex and companionship.

Would be surprised if he has not after 8 years found even another girlfriend also
