    Child services
My partner and I got into a fight on Friday night. I slapped him and scratched him on his chest, I did leave a mark. He pinned me down and wouldn't let me go, pushed and screamed at me. We are sort of talking now. I suggested to him that I see someone about my anger eg: theropy and he is looking at coming with me to a few of the sessions. Because his children were in the house at the time can child services step in and take them off him. He has them 3 nights a week every week.

Could they? Sure. It could possibly affect his visitation. Will they? Highly doubtful.

Was there a police report? Hospital report?

If the kids went back to the mom and told her of the fight/argument and she was feeling vindictive or whatever, she could use this information against him with the visitation.

If the cops were not called or anyone sought medical treatment in a hospital, I don't think much should come of this incident.

Generally, for children to be removed, a serious danger to them has to be proven. To do so, CPS would have to find a pattern of violence in your relationship.
