    Hello everyone Thanks 4 your Help!! What are areators in relation to Low pressure from shower and Bath&kitchen Faucets?? I was told to cleaned them on a regular basis. Thanks

    Aerators save water and also keep the sink faucets from splashing you when the faucet is turned on and doesn't bounce off the sink.

    It's the little cap looking piece that screw's onto the faucet tip or is up in the faucet, It's a small screen.

    The shower head that screws on could have a restrictor in it and /or the end of it can get clogged also.

    If these aerators become clogged up it will seem as though your water pressure is low.
