Is there any children, or is there any property to divide,

You could hire an attorney who could file using a mail drop address for your protection. Then if required they would have to get a court order for your real address

But to be honest if you have electric or gas or pay a tax bill in your name, you could be found fairly easy if someone really wanted to find you

Since your lawyer is the one that needs all the paperwork, you can use his address. Just let him know that you do not want the spouse to know your real address and he should be able to address it. This issue comes up a lot in divorces.
