WHY DO GUYS SAY THEY WILL CALL AND DON'T?

I don't understand men. I met a guy online and we were talking for about 2 weeks on the phone and via email, as he was out of town on business. Things seemed to be going well and we were both pretty excited to meet each other. I felt confident to go on the date, looked sharp, and figured the date would go well since we had already built up this little connection. I knew going into the date he was battling a cold all weeK so I thought it was cool he didn't try to sneak out early or in retrospect, that he didn't use that to try to get out of it early. We went to dinner, and then went to the bar section of the restaurant for 2 more drinks. Overall, I think we both were fairly nervous but it went well and there definitely was some connection. Although he didn't do anything to show me was really into it, but he is also pretty conservative, and there were times he could have got out of it early if he wasn't feeling it. At the end, I gave him a kiss on the cheek, said thanks, and he asked me when I was coming back into town ( I was going out of town for the weekend) I told him probably Sunday night, and he said "okay i'll give you a call." Well, it's Tuesday and he didn't call. WHY?!

I'm just so sick of guys saying that and then not calling. I'm starting to think its me, but I KNOW I played my cards right this time.

He just didn't seem like the type to say that and even ask when I would be back in town and then not call.

I don't get men.

If this is bothering you that much why don't you give him a call. There is nothing wrong with a female calling the guy. If I would've sat back and waiting for my fiancé to call me, while we were dating, we wouldn't have form a relationship nor be getting married.

Also, he might be waiting for you to give him a call. Guys like to be chase too.
