    Coins - Value
Recently my mother has passed away and left me quite a bit of coins. Since I am not a coin collector I am not sure as to where to even start. I have one coin in from of me that I will ask about now. But because I have so many I am unable to lsit them all here. The one I have currently with me is 1880 SILVER DOLLAR - FRONT SAYS "E. PLURIBUS. UNUM" - The rear side of the coin says " United States of America" and "In God we trust" Under the wreath it has a Zero 0. I would like to know what the value mat be. It is currently in a coin jacket and is very GREAT shape.

please email me @ [email protected] with any other questions. Thank you for any and all help you may be able to offer.

ceaser6871 - i have been a coin collector for since i was 7 years old
there is nothing to be scared of <just have to use common sense<in what you are doing> and to do a little research before :: ok ,now to give you some information on just what you have;;1880silver dollar and on the back (reverse )
at the bottom of it is a letter {o} ;i
know by heart which one you have : i have one that is right next to proof :anac gradfed it as( ms-65;) i will give you a site to go to that will give you several grades of tnhe coin and how to figure the condition and grade of the coin ;; now the { o ] stands for [the new orleans mint } in that year there was ( 3) different ones made ;; 1880-0 ; 1880 , { 80 over the
79::) 1880 - all kinds;; 18800:: check yours very close to see which one you have ( it means a difference in the value :: on the 1880 over 79 you may have to use a mag, glass to see it ;; there value will run between { $22.00 and $ 25,000 )
first i gave you was vf-20; the last was ms-65 ) there are 7 grades plus pf-63 ;; if you will let me know which one you have and grade;; now if you want to you can list some at a time and i will help you out with them; i use the {red book on us coins for 20090 for the values :: now please let me give you a little advise :: do not take them to a coin shop to sell <to check for value they will give you :ok and do not take them tio za pawn shop:
, same reason : they will give you value of there's and where they can make the most profit:: if you decide to sell them : there is a lot of jhonest places i can give you : and if you sell to a collector <that is where you will get the most on value< and it depends just how bad they want that certain coin : it may be to complete a certain series:: another way to check the value of what you have < go to your local libery and check out a coin or currency book {note <get one as close to the year we are in as you can : or go to walmart < {i like :books a million } and they will have the current year: :: once you hsave a book it is easy to do the rest::
cearser< i will do all i can to help you out :: good luck and have a great day and god bless:: f.b.e.
