Running water sound when using kitchen sink
    Hello,

When I am outside, I can hear a running water sound coming from the crawl space under the kitchen sink (from under the house) when someone is using the kitchen sink. More specifically, it does not sound like water running through a pipe, but instead sounds like an open faucet running water sound. Is this sound normal? My concern is that perhaps there is a problem with the pipe and water is running directly onto the ground and not out to the sewer like it is supposed to.

    Thank you for any thoughts!

This sound, as you are describing, is usually caused by hole in kitchen drain pipe that developed leak. Take flash light, have somebody to run your kitchen sink, crawl half way into the crawl space opening and see if you can see water puddling on the ground. Get back to us with your findings...
