NirsOO - There are about 6 reasons that you are having this trouble- here they are :: #1-
WASH load is unballenced( RE ADJUST THE LOAD:) #2- LID Safety SWITCH IS DEFECTIVE <OR OUT OF ADJUSTMENT<( REPAIR AT END:: #3-DRIVE BELT ,SLIPPING OR BROKEN OR LOOSE:: #3a- CHECK AND TIGHTEN BELT> FROM STRIGHT WHEN TIGHT <FLEX IN BELT <SHOULD BE ABOUT 3/45 inch::#4- BASKET JAMMED BY CLOTHING UND
-erNEATH<IT: #4A- REMOVE CLOTHING CAUGHT AROUND THE TUB SHAFT<UNDER THE BASKET:: #5-( MOST PROBABLE CAUSE)ANS
AT END:": CAUSE -{SPIN SOLIENIODS FAULTY} #5A;- TEST BOTH SOLEINOIDS WITH A VOLT-OHM METER (NOTE - IF you don't have a meter ,at Lowe's OR HOME DEPOT in the electrical dept ,they have them for as low about $10.00;; YOU WILL NEED ONE TO TEST THE SOLENIODS AND THE LID SWITCH:: { You will find the soleniods mounted under the TUB } {NOTE- THE MAchine will not either agiate or spin if one of the soleniods are defective} NOW to TEST the soleniods:: UN PLUG THE POWER CORD- #5a - SET THE VOLT OHM METER TO THE RX100 SCALE #5B-REMOVE THE ACCESS PANEL AT THE BOTTOM OF MACHINE:: #5C- DISCONNECT A WIRE LEAD FROM ONE OF THE WIRES AT THE SOLENIOD< CLIP A PROBE FROM THE METER TO EACH ONE OF THE WIRE TERMINALS on the soleniod;; #5D- IF the reading on the meter is 250 to 1000 ohms the soleniod is good, IF THE READING IS HIGHER THE SOLENIOD IS DEFECTIVE :: TEST the other one the same way:: NOTE - IF one of them is defective ,then replace both soleniods;;[ NOW for #2-the
LID safety switch- #!- POWER CORD STILL UNPLUGED_ lift the TOP up ,REMOVE THE SPRAY SHELD WITH A NUT DRIVER THAT IS OVER THE TOP OF THE SWITCH: SET THE VOLT OHM METER TO RX1 scale;; #2- TO TEST the switch ,Disconnect both the wires at the switch
,CLIP the meter probs to the wire terminals;; #3- CLOSE THE lid down or BY PRESSING THE SWITCH LEVER WITH YOUR FINGER #4-
IF THE VOLT_OHM METER READS (ZEROOHMS) SWITCH IS GOOD :IF IT READS HIGH<SWITCH IS DEFECTIVE REPLACE>#5- if the switch is out of adjustement ,readjust the switch ;; ( NOTE ) REMEMBERTO RE HOOK THE WIRES YOU TOOK OFF :::: I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT <IF NOT COME BACK ON TO THIS POST AND HOLLER<< HAVE A GREAT DAY AND GOD BLESS:: F.B.E.
