I met a women from Afganistan 25 years ago when her family found out that she was with someone outside of their culture me an america they beat her very badly and kick her out with no I.D. but a social security card that she had hinded from them. She was working when I met her and worked at the same job for 25 years. We have tried everything to get married and get her citizen ship here but with just a social security card we can not. Her family refuses to help her and they are all citizen now. She came here with her family.

She might try to claim sanctuary. I assume she is here illegally since she has no green card and no American citizenship or legal documents. If so then the rules are clear she may be forced to return to afghanistan. If she is here legally then her name will appear among the INS documents that awarded her the green card. That said, she does not require family documents. All she needs is that social security card and the INS papers. That will allow you to take the next step. If she cannot get that info or they do require more, you may need to speak to the American Consulate in Kabul, or discuss this with an American lawyer.

Are you a US citizen? If so, then if you are married, you can file for her permanent residence, unless there are very unusual circumstances. You say you tried to get married? She does not need a SSN to get married, happens every day for visitors getting married in the US. It sounds like she entered lawfully, so that makes it relatively easy for you to petition for her. The overstay of her visa and unauthorized employment are forgiven under INA section 245(a) with marriage to a USC.

Get married, file the I-130 relative petition, I-485 application for permanent residence, affidavit of support, I-765 work authorization and include evidence of the bona fides of your marriage (cohabitation and co-mingling of funds).
